Client focused
A Lawyer Who Fights With Purpose
Tyler Haslam has been a fighter his entire life. In college, he was the smallest starting offensive lineman in the NCAA while playing college football at Emory & Henry College. His efforts on the field earned recognition in the 2005 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team for Division III.
Tyler also served in the United States Army, first as an intelligence officer and then as a judge advocate, in some of America's most renowned military units. Tyler passed the Ranger Selection and Assessment Program at Fort Benning, GA where he earned the right to don the tan beret as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment. He also served as a judge advocate with 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group where he advised Green Berets on a wide range of issues with worldwide implications.
Tyler Haslam founded Haslam Law Firm with one clear mission: represent people — not institutions.
His practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights violations, and criminal defense cases where the consequences are deeply personal and the stakes could not be higher.
Preparation defines every case he handles. From the earliest investigation to courtroom litigation, Tyler approaches each matter with strategic precision and meticulous attention to detail. Insurance carriers and prosecutors know that every case he accepts is prepared as if it will go to trial.
Clients work directly with Tyler — not passed between junior associates. His approach is hands-on, responsive, and built on trust. Every decision is guided by one question: what best protects the client’s rights, freedom, and future?

Client Reviews
What Clients Say
Tyler Haslam was a Godsend for our family. Not only is Tyler a brilliant attorney, but also a kind and empathetic person. We love Tyler! Should you find yourself in need of a legal warrior, you’ll love Tyler as well!!

Strategic Approach
Built on Preparation. Driven by Discipline.
Behind every case Tyler Haslam takes on is a disciplined structure built long before a courtroom appearance ever occurs. His work begins with investigation — not assumption. Every document is reviewed, every timeline reconstructed, every inconsistency examined.
He approaches litigation as a strategic process rather than a reactive one. While many cases resolve before trial, Tyler prepares each matter as if a jury will ultimately decide it. That level of preparation changes negotiations. It changes leverage. It changes outcomes.
His experience across personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, and criminal defense matters has reinforced a consistent truth: institutions respond differently when they know the opposing counsel is prepared to follow through.
Tyler understands that for his clients, legal cases are not abstract disputes — they are deeply personal turning points. A catastrophic injury alters a family’s stability. A civil rights violation challenges someone’s dignity. A criminal charge places a future at risk. The emotional weight behind these cases demands more than technical skill; it demands steadiness, clarity, and control.
That is why his process is structured and intentional. Early case analysis identifies both strengths and vulnerabilities. Witnesses are evaluated carefully. Expert involvement is considered strategically. Arguments are refined until they withstand scrutiny from every angle.
Clients are never left uncertain about where their case stands. Communication is direct. Expectations are realistic. Decisions are deliberate.
Tyler does not measure success by how quickly a case closes. He measures it by whether the outcome reflects the full weight of preparation behind it.
When negotiation serves the client’s interest, he negotiates from strength. When trial becomes necessary, he is ready for it.
No Cost. No Pressure.
